roundup – june 2016

Well. I’m trying REALLY hard not to feel guilty about the fact that, from the outside, my blog may seem almost ruthlessly neglected these days.
Which it isn’t. I’m thinking about it all the time. I just can’t seem to turn the tons of drafts and ideas and notes on my computer into decent blog posts anymore.
For now, at least I managed to put together some „hard facts“ about my month of June 2016:

Favorite songs:
Before I Sleep – Joy Williams
Not Good Enough – Joy Williams
On Echo – Mree
Haux – Caves
YNGCULT – The Electric (feat Madison Gold)

Books I started reading:
John J. Prendergast, PhD – in touch
Mitch Albom – The Time Keeper
Dan Brown – Deception Point
Gretchen Rubin – The Happiness Project
Tobi Katze – Morgen ist leider auch noch ein Tag

Books I finished reading:
Mitch Albom – The Time Keeper
Dan Brown – Deception Point
Tobi Katze – Morgen ist leider auch noch ein Tag

Amount of time spent in the aerial hammock:
20 to 30 min every damn day, plus about 5 hours of classes I took, adding up to about 20 hours

Km run:
32,4

Yoga classes taken:
5 (same as last month… still lots of room for improvement)

So… what were your highs and lows this past month?
And do you have some kind of strategy to keep writing and filling your blog with meaningful content when you are all over the place and you feel like you don’t really have anything to say but at the same time, you know that consistency is key and you really really don’t want to give up?

For me, blogging is like my other creative hobbies. I have phases where I’m in to it and phases where I’m, well, just meh. I blog for myself. I’ve decided that, when I’m not feeling into it, I’m not going to force it. Otherwise it will become another chore and won’t be the creative outlet that I need. I do want to write a post this month though :-)
