signs of love #1

new category: signs of love

Many clinically depressed people suffer from a lack of self love. I guess it’s kind of a vicious cycle. Right now I don’t feel like going into too much detail, maybe I’ll add that later.
The thing is: not being able to love myself is a huge issue for me. And I’m really trying to change that. There are tons of books on the subject, but one I like in particular is „Das Wunder der Selbstliebe“ (by Bärbel Mohr & Manfred Mohr), because it has many really small and approachable tipps and exercises. One of the exercises encourages you to find love on the outside, everywhere you look, in the most ordinary of circumstances, because if you can see the world around you as a beautiful place it can help you find love and beauty inside yourself as well.

So that’s what this category is for: Collecting all the things I love.
(There might be a lot of pink and some disney related stuff coming…)

Since today was a super grey and rainy day, I had to find things I love inside my apartment.

Left: Discounter happiness – Gemüsechips
Right: Das Wunder der Selbstliebe. See all the post it notes? Yeah. And I’m not even half way through the book.

Left: Two pairs of G-Star Denims for less than 50 € – I love Kleiderkreisel
Right: My heart shaped cactus grew himself a twin (don’t ask me why the twin is upside down though). Considering the fact that I have a super black thumb, that’s kind of a miracle.

Now tell me…  what signs of love did you find today?
(feel free to comment in German, I write my blog posts in English so my friends from other countries can read them as well)

  1. Ein schöner Post nur verwirrt mich der Deutschetitel des Buches in einem ansonsten englisch verfassten Post ;)

    Liebe Grüße
